Do you need more track time at the drag strip? Are you tired of going to a race and only getting a few time runs? Do you want to practice your launches, learn new tricks and bike set-ups? Jason Miller’s Streetbike Seminars may be exactly what you are looking for! They are a great way to get some track time and tune-up for an upcoming drag race of yours. Beginner drag racers are strongly encouraged to take one of the "Novice Seminars" so you don't develop bad habits when you hit the track. For you road racers we haven't forgotten about you; these seminars are an excellent opportunity for you to learn how to get to first turn ahead of the pack. Imagine and empty racetrack all day to yourselves! Some riders have gotten over 30-40 runs in just one day!

The Streetbike Seminars take place at Maryland International Raceway, which is a state of the art IHRA National Event facility. VIP suites with air conditioning are located in the race control tower and are available all day to cool off between your passes as well. In addition to the unlimited track time and seminars, there will be drinks and a catered “hot lunch” in a VIP suite in the timing tower!
Each day consists of various seminars listed in the schedule below. Be sure to read the questions and answers section at the bottom of this site for more information.

Contact us today for availability and book your date before it fills up. We can’t wait to work with you!

Questions & Answers:

Can I bring a friend or family? Yes you can bring a friend or family member, and there is no charge for them. However, if they wish to eat lunch the caterer charges $10 for each friend or family member (please let Jason know a head count in advance, so the caterer is prepared).

What safety equipment do I need? You must have a full face SNELL approved helmet, full leathers, leather gloves, and boots. You do not need a kill switch.

What bike am I going to ride? Everyone brings their own bike, after all that is the bike you want to learn how to go fast on right?

Can Jason teach me how to ride a bike? No, Jason can’t teach new riders how to ride a bike. You must know that on your own, this is not a school. Everyone must have at least one year of general riding experience. You do not need any experience at the racetrack however.

Is there anything I should do to my bike before I come? That is entirely up to you. You don’t have to do any mods to come to the seminars. We do strongly recommend that all Hayabusa owners install the “clutch mod” before coming.

Can I come early and camp at MIR? Yes you may come early and camp if you have a motorhome. We will knock on your door and even give you a wake up call.

What time should I show up? We recommend that everyone arrive between 8:30am-8:45am. We start things off at 9:00am sharp and you don’t want to miss introductions and the rider’s meeting.

Should I bring spare clutches? There should be no need to bring any. You will get an enormous amount of track time, however we try to get riders to only make a few passes at a time to let the bike cool down, so the clutches last. However, you can bring spare clutches if you have the tools to install yourself.

Can I get an IHRA or Prostar license while I am there? Yes you can get either license here. We are full credited for IHRA and Prostar. We even have all the forms here for you as well. Sorry, we cannot do NHRA licences.

Can I ride more than one bike? Yes each rider that is signed up for the seminar can bring as many bikes as you wish to ride.

Does my bikes have to be street legal to attend? No it doesn’t have to be a Streetbike. However most of the seminars are geared towards Streetbike skills.

I am a road racer, will these seminars help me get to first turn? We have had many road racers come to these seminars for help. And we have had great reviews and helped many road racers get through that grid quick and on the brakes at first turn quicker than ever before.

Can I bring a nitrous or turbo bike? Yes you can. However, we do not have a nitrous filling station available on seminar days, so bring full bottles.

Do you have air and water available? Yes we have plenty or air & water locations.

Are we allowed to bring a video camera? Absolutely, we even encourage it! Take it back home and study some more!

What is the “Better your reaction time” seminar about? It helps racers improve consistency on their reaction times. Jason Miller has some trade secrets that he has learned through some of the best bracket racers in the country and some of the best pro tree racers on the strip!

What is the “learning the timing system” seminar about? This seminar is a “must know” for all racers going down the track. It explains, rollout, auto-start, time-outs, official procedures, and ways to cut away a few hundredths from your 60’ time.

What is the “Improving 60’ & 330’ times” seminar about? This seminar is definitely the most popular. It explains how to go faster in the areas that count the most (the first 60 feet of the track and the first 330 feet of the track). Jason Miller has professional racers make exhibition passes as he narrates what to be watching for. Also, Jason explains secret techniques used to really get your times lower.

What is the “suspension” seminar about at select seminars? This seminar explains how to set your suspension up properly for your weight and wheelbase through dampening, compression, and preloading the spring. This is mainly beneficial to riders with aftermarket shocks as they have more adjustability.

What is the “multi-stage clutch” seminar about at select seminars? This seminar explains how to set your multi-stage clutch up properly and how they work. Jason explains how to adjust your static clutch as well as the lock-up arms.

What is the “learning the basics” seminar about at the novice seminars? This seminar explains all the basics for new racers. This seminar does not explain how to ride a bike, it does explain a racetrack in general so you know your way around the track.

What is the “learning how to bracket race” seminar about at the novice seminars? This seminar explains bracket racing and all the rules. It will show you how to dial in your bike and put together winning packages. Your on you way to the winner’s circle after attending this seminar!
